The Undergraduate Chemistry Society (UCS) invites you to attend our annual Professional Communications Workshop on Thursday, October 27 from 12:30 – 2:00 pm in CHEM D213. Come learn about applying for research opportunities, communicating with professors and instructors, writing resumes and cover letters.

Our guest speakers include a representative from UBC Career Services and a faculty member from the Department of Chemistry.

Graduate School Info Session: University of Toronto

The Undergraduate Chemistry Society (UCS) has the great pleasure to have Dr. Mark Lautens from the University of Toronto (UofT) present his research on organic synthesis and asymmetric catalysis at our Graduate Info Session on Tuesday, November 1st. Come to the session to learn more about research, graduate student life, and other opportunities at UofT. There will also be an opportunity to ask Dr.Lautens any questions that you have about UofT or graduate school after his presentation.
