UCS Game Night

Hey everyone, the UCS is hosting a games Night on April 1st via zoom. This is your chance to relax from school work and have some fun before final exams! The format of the event is very relaxed and you will be able to join breakout rooms of your choice to play and socialize with your friends and classmates! Make sure to RSVP by March 31st at 11:59pm.if you are interested in attending. We will be giving raffle draw prizes as well as prizes to people wining games. Make sure to stay until the end of the event! We will providing zoom links to those who RSVP.

Are you a second or third year chemistry student interested in the Chemistry Co-op program? Come to the info session next week on Thursday, February 4th! Be sure to RSVP so we know that you’re coming!
Rob Driscoll, the chemistry co-op coordinator, will be giving a presentation on the opportunities for students that enroll in the program, and answering any questions you may have. Also, former co-op students will share their experiences as well!

Faculty Meet and Greet

Welcome back everyone to a new term and a new year. Hopefully, you have had an amazing break and you are excited for a new term. We have heard all your feedback and are looking forward to hosting another virtual faculty meet and greet. Make sure to come by to have a chance to socialize with profs and meet new people. It’s also your chance to ask the profs about their research and maybe you get a chance to do funded research over summer. First in this series is Dr. Wolf’s lab! The Wolf Group’s research spans both inorganic and materials chemistry as they find distinct applications for materials that interact with light! Join PhD Candidate Taylor Wright and UCS’s very own Sebastian Gutierrez on our very first virtual lab tour!
