Ever wonder what it’s like to work in a chemistry research lab here at UBC? Join us for our 2020 Lab Tour Series where UBC Chemistry Graduate students will be showing us the labs that they work in!
First in this series is Dr. Wolf’s lab! The Wolf Group’s research spans both inorganic and materials chemistry as they find distinct applications for materials that interact with light! Join PhD Candidate Taylor Wright and UCS’s very own Sebastian Gutierrez on our very first virtual lab tour!

2-Bucks-a-Beaker: Celebrate the End of Term!

2BaB is back — just in time for end-of-term celebrations!

Join us on Friday, November 21 from 5:30 – 10:00 PM in the Grad Lounge (CHEM D211)! We’ll be serving beer and cider — it’s $5 for a beaker with a free drink ticket included, or $2 for refills! Bring your own beaker if you have one!

This is a 19+ event, so make sure you have two pieces of identification on hand (including one piece of photo ID).
