Events Overview

UCS hosts several social events throughout the school year to provide networking opportunity for students and professors. This includes our famous 2-Bucks-a-Beaker mixer where students can relax and meet their peers, all while breaking lab rules and drinking out of beakers! We also host the Faculty Meet & Greet, where students can mingle with their instructors outside of a classroom setting.

But the UCS is about more than just social events! We also host informative events such as the Professional Communication Workshop where we’ll arm you with the skills you need to stand out in the job market. Our annual Chemistry Forum and Chemistry Undergraduate Research Conference events highlights the versatility of a chemistry degree in the industry and academia, and features undergraduate chemistry student research respectively.
