The Day of the Longboat is one of the most iconic annual events occuring at UBC. The race takes place towards the end of September. Groups of 8-10 paddle in a voyageur canoe at the Jericho Sailing Centre. Your team can race either competitively or in a ‘Just-for-Fun’ race. If your team is made up of at least 50% chemistry students, your team may be reimbursed by the UCS!
